Maui Performance and Wellness provide you with a wealth of data about your physical function, enabling you to focus on what truly matters for your performance and wellbeing.
Book NowMaui Performance and Wellness empowers individuals by providing a comprehensive strength, mobility and gait assessment from initial contact to the end of the swing phase. This approach gives runner’s all the data they need to train more efficiently helping them improve performance, prevent injuries, and optimize their overall running experience.
We assess the strength of each muscle groups using manual muscle testing (MMT), power and reactive forces using force plates, and do a battery of functional strength testing.
We manually assessed the mobility of each joint relevant to running, and perform a battery of functional mobility tests.
Using high speed cameras, we will assess your running under a variety of conditions (barefoot, running, jogging, sprinting, varieting cadence) and analyse your gait using specialized software. This allows us to find out any inefficiency in your running gait and help you avoid injuries.
All your results are imputed on an excel spreadsheet and we offer advice on any areas of weakness we have identified and would like to work on. This allows you to track your progress, and spend your time training what matters the most.
